owner.” Available only to Nebraska homeowners in the Greater Omaha Metro area, we provide listing services at a very low commission in order to expose
your home on the Realtor’s®
MLS to buyers’ agents. We feel strongly, however,
that if you follow For Sale by Owner Registry’s proven FSBO advertising and
assistance program,
you will sell your home in a reasonable time period at or near market price. We
encourage you to market your home in the magazine, by owner, a minimum of 60
days before you even consider moving to this second step of listing with Mach
1. During that first 60 days, if you follow our FSBO strategy, you will more
than likely sell your home and find no need to list your home with Mach 1.
What are the benefits of listing with Mach 1 Real Estate and why is it a better
option than traditional or other discount real estate companies as your next
step?
1. You have a better chance of selling your home by owner because your
magazine ad continues to run during the time you are listed with Mach 1. If you
list with any other agent or broker your FSBO ad would be immediately stopped.
If you sell by owner, while listed with Mach 1, your only fees are a $500 sign
up that will be credited toward our 1% commission at closing ($1495 minimum).
If a buyer’s agent represents your buyer, there may be an additional 2.8% or
2.4% commission. The most you would pay is 3.8% ($1495 minimum), this is still
much less than the traditional 7%.

Omaha Metro sellers will have the full services of Robert J. Remack; the areas most experienced for
sale by owner real estate law firm, handling all the negotiations, contracts,
legal and title paperwork issues through to closing – this is included in the
1%. Any fees you have already paid to the attorneys will be credited toward your
$500 sign up fee with Mach 1 Real Estate and
they will continue to represent you.
3. You will be provided with the best advertising and marketing program
available. You are not only listed on the Realtor’s®
Multiple Listing Service, your ad also continues to run in the For Sale by Owner
& Builder Magazine. Your ad will be seen by 2,000 plus agents and by the FSBO
magazine’s 50,000 plus readers every month. In addition to the 7 web sites
you're currently on, we'll also put you on Realtor.com.
4. You will continue to control your entire selling process, showing your
own home, scheduling appointments when they are convenient for you, and holding
as few or as many open houses as you, not your agent, choose to do. For an
additional fee, a Lock
Box option is available to sellers who do not wish to show their homes
themselves.
In summary, if you choose to use Mach 1 Real Estate to list your home, you will
have the best of both worlds when selling your home. You’ll be represented by a
Real Estate Attorney rather than a simple sales agent. You’ll be advertised in
both the MLS and the For Sale by Owner & Builder Magazine. You’ll also have the
added assurance that you have not wasted your time or part of your equity in
your for sale by owner efforts.
